Do you think that climate change can affect your health? We agree that our environment affects our health to a certain degree, but we never imagine a direct impact on chronic diseases like diabetes. The article talks about blood vessel damage from diabetes makes the person harder to cool down and it puts them at higher risk for arrhythmia.
People with chronic conditions, especially those without air-conditioning systems, face challenges in managing their health conditions with rising temperatures. It is another added stress of living in the 21st century.
However, there is something different about climate change. It makes us feel powerless- how can an individual make the earth cool down?
We have to think collectively and individually at the same time. Every waste contributes to pollution, and it requires my conscious effort not to worsen, if not better. It is a simple principle of good verse evil for the common good.

How interesting, I never realized the extent to which health could be tied to environmental factors like that!
